Wow! What an amazing weekend and thank you to all who attended. Our sponsors were amazing, our kitchen staff turned out delicious meal after meal (and no, there were no hot dogs!!) and we have recevied very positive feedback from the event.

Welcome to our first annual Precision Rimfire Rifle Series Tournament at Courtenay and District Fish and Game Association, home of the Vancouver Island Precision Rimfire Series.

 

We are excited to announce that Scorpion Outdoors is our title sponsor for this exciting match.

 

This event will pull together 64 competitors from Vancouver Island,  mainland BC, Alberta and the Pacific NW states for 3 days of challenging stages and great sport community building.

 

This is a "destination" tournament, allowing competitors (and families) to take advange of our beautiful lake front camping facilities as well as having full onsite food and beverage services provided as an optional part of your match fees. Click here for a video overview of our range property.

 

Participants will have the option of lakeside campsite or range campsite depending on your preferences. All spots are unserviced. There is a coin op shower and potable water on site.

 

Family members are welcome to attend and enjoy our facilities or spectate while the participant shoots.

We will be shooting a 10 stage Precision Rifle Series Match as well as the August Outlaw Rimfire Precision Series and the August NRL 22 Canada Courses of fire. All scores will apply to the specific leagues and we will also run a Tournament leaderboard for a combined 20 stages for tournament placement.

 

Besides approaching National vendors for sponsorship, this tournament is a fundraser to support the 2025 CAPRA Rimfire Team.

 

The top match open division participant that gets accepted to the 2025 Team will receive a $1000 CAD Bursery towards their travels. Top Lady, if accepted to the 2025 National CAPRA RImfire Team will also receive a $1000 Bursery towards their travel costs if accepted. If the top shooters in each division do not make the National Team, we will go down the list in order of tournament placement to support the next highest shooter that qualified.

If none of our participants make the 2025 Team, the funds will be donated to CAPRA directly.

Match weekend, not staying onsite / no food
$150.00 CDN 

 

Youth Shooters (17 and under, with registered adult) shoot for free.

Without a registed adult, they receive the Tesro youth discount of $30 and a Scorpion Outdoors (match sponsor) discount of $50

 

Match weekend including food/onsite camping space
$350.00 CDN 

 

Spousal/Family Food add on: $125.00 per person

 

Skills only registration - no placement or prize table $125.00 CAD

Lunch: Croissant Sandwich & Green Salad, plus dessert trays (cookies, bars, etc)
